Volunteer Position: Office Helper

 

Purpose: To assist in administrative functions

 

Location: Grace Mission, 303 West Brevard Street

 

Schedule: work will be done Tuesday – Fridays 10am – 3pm on a weekly, monthly, or as needed basis, like quarterly bulk mailings.

 

Key Responsibilities:  Varies by work to be done

 

  • Perform clerical duties as assigned, including
    • Label and stuff envelopes and prepare bulk mailings
    • Update music binders for praise band and file music sheets
    • Answer phones, take messages, make phone calls
    • Operate a variety of office equipment, including copy machine
    • Sign in and out each time you are here

 

Time Commitment: ranges from a few hours one day, to weekly, monthly, or quarterly, depending on the function or project you are committing to do
